Spring Has Sprung

Spring is here, which means we’re clearing out clothes that no longer fit. I’m trying half-heartedly to sell some items on a local online yard sale group through Facebook, but whatever isn’t sold is going to be donated. I’m planning on having one last haul from a local charity group in a couple of weeks so I can get before and after pictures up.

Girls ClothesI’m doing my best to limit the amount of stuff that comes in so we can enjoy the peace in our home and stand a chance of keeping clutter at bay. I’ve still got a few hot spots (mostly papers and mail), but I’m working on keeping those under control.

I can’t believe my year is coming to an end. More details in a blog post to come this week, but if you think you’d like to take over and write The Simple Year Part 3, stay tuned.

  1. Check out a website called thredUP. They send you a postage-paid shipping bag for all your clothes you don’t need anymore, pay you for what is in good enough condition to resell, and donate the rest for you. It might be the perfect no-fuss solution.
