T-Shirts

I’m still trying to get my mojo back. In the interest of small wins, I decided to take on something that would be neither time-consuming nor difficult.

T-shirts

Truth be told, this is my third pass. I have literally donated so many I have no way of quantifying them. 30 or 40 would be a wild guess.

I really only need t-shirts to wear to work out (which for me means either physical therapy or over my yoga clothes) or to lay around the house. Admittedly, I end up looking like I didn’t make an effort most days because I work from home and don’t make an effort. I really need to step up my game. Because when you can count on one hand the number of times you’ve actually tried to look decent in the last month, you know deep down in your soul something horrible has happened.

You’ve become that mom.

I went through the t-shirts in my closet that were folded on the shelf. Now, this doesn’t include any in my dresser (mostly workout or sleep related) or ones that are hanging up. Or the one or two that are in the laundry. Because I know my Lady Gaga concert t-shirt is in there.

The t-shirts on the left are keep. The ones on the right are donate/recycle. These t-shirts all fall into three categories:

  • Musical theatre or shows I performed in
  • Alma Mater
  • Sports (At my old job I used to get to wear jeans on Friday sometimes if I wore the appropriate sport related t-shirt with them.)

I kept 10 (8 in the stack), donated 7.
