Today I tool a day off from working in the attic. I had some errands to deal with, and Emma had a half day of school so we got to spend some extra time together. Yesterday I put out a large donation pickup. Everything to the right of the trash bag, which is full of clothes, was already documented here as I was keeping it in the car in case I found myself near Goodwill. Everything to the left was taken out of the attic.

Yesterday I knew I needed a break because I couldn’t deal with trying to get rid of any more stuff. So I’m storing Bob’s videotapes even though we haven’t had a VCR since 2005. And Emma has these sticker books that she loved, which she seems to have forgotten about. But I just didn’t feel like dealing with those and a few other things so they’ve been stored for now. It has nothing to do with sentiment, though I don’t feel right getting rid of Bob’s videos unless I get his approval. At some point in the next few days I’ll go back and deal with it all.

I’m really hoping to have this done for good by this time next week. Having this finished will be a huge accomplishment for me.
